[Tradjazz] PETER FERRAN on Radio OKOM

Some years ago, my dear friend, clarinetist Peter Ferran, joined me for some Radio OKOM programs.

Pete and I played together in the high school band and in the dance band we had back then.  Later, Peter was the leader of what became The Smith Street Society Jazz Band.  I took over when he returned to college.

Over the years since then, he's been featured with many groups including frequent stints with Jim Dapogny's band(s) in the Chicaogo area and in a band that did a run as an opening act for Bonnie Raitt.

At this time (Saturday - 11:30AM Eastern Time) Radio OKOM (www.okom.com) is running those programs.  We're playing recordings with Peter and we even did some live playing.
