Phil Sasson Died

Phil Sasson, a fine tromboninst has been associated with us for many years.
 Classically trained, Phil was played wonderful old-time jazz.

The other day we received a message from his wife, Phoebe (another fine
musican) that Phil had been suffering from cancer.  Later that day we were
informed that he had passed away.

We lost another good one.

Phil will be buried on 6/27/08, Friday Morning, 10:00AM.  
Members of the Smith Street Society Jazz Band will perform.
